1. The Defendant, Tradelink Electronic Commerce Ltd (“Tradelink”) is a publicly listed company in Hong Kong. Between 1 January 1997 and 31 December 2003 it held an exclusive licence issued by the Government to provide an online electronic declaration system for the import and export of goods in and out of Hong Kong.
