1. On 12 th April 2017 the Applicant (hereinafter called “W”) applied by way of an ex parte originating summons for leave under section 29AC of Part IIA of the Matrimonial Proceedings and Property Ordinance, Cap. 192 (“MPPO”) to make application for financial relief under section 29AG of MPPO against her former husband the Respondent (hereinafter called “H”) herein upon the dissolution of their marriage earlier in PRC.
