RULING

1.The Correctional Services Department by a memo dated 9 August 2017 drew my attention to the error of the sentence related to D2.

2.The true intention of my sentence was to allow further deduction for D2’s age and clear record and to a total of 23 months after taking into account of the totality consideration.  It was my error in order to reflect the true intention, it is appropriate to amend the record under the Slip Rule by:

Paragraph 30. I allowed a further deduction of 2 months on both charges, making a total of 5 months’ deduction on charge 1 and 2 months on charge 2.

2.After the amendment made, the sentence of D2 should as follows:

D2

Charge 1 9 months;

Charge 2 22 months, with 14 months to run consecutive with

charge 1, making a total of 23 months’ imprisonment.
