On 2 June 2017, this court handed down a judgment (“ Judgment ”) after trial of liability in respect of two almost simultaneous collisions near the termination of the East Lamma Channel Traffic Separation Scheme, Hong Kong, at around 3:37am (“ 1 st Collision ”) and 3:40am (“ 2 nd Collision ”) on 14 May 2011 among three container vessels viz “Xin Nan Tai 77” (“ Xin Nan Tai ”), “MCC Jakarta” (“ Jakarta ”) and “TS Singapore” (“ Singapore ”).
