On 25 June 2011, the plaintiff driving a light goods vehicle had a head-on collision with another light goods vehicle, driven by the 1 st defendant and owned by the 2 nd defendant, and sustained personal injuries. The plaintiff claimed that the accident was caused by the negligence of the 1 st defendant, for which the 2 nd defendant was vicariously liable.
