The applicant was charged with trafficking in a dangerous drug, , namely 700 millilitres of a liquid containing 455 grammes of cocaine, contrary to section 4(1)(a) and (3) of the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, Cap 134. He pleaded guilty to the charge in the Magistrate’s Court and was committed for sentence in the Court of First Instance.
