These are applications by summons by the Securities and Futures Commission (“ Commission ”) under section 385 of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap 571) (“ Ordinance ”) for leave to intervene in five actions in the High Court, namely, HCA 2410, 2411, 2412, 2413 and 2414 of 2019 (“ Actions ”). Since the existing parties to the Actions have not opposed the applications, I shall be brief in stating my reasons.
