On the first day of trial of this action on 15 August 2022, the plaintiff decided not to turn up to prove his case, allegedly on the ground that he was having a fever, therefore could not come to court to give evidence. He and his solicitors were fully expecting the court would adjourn the trial for the sake of his convenience.
