Portions of the last sentence in paragraph 135 were omitted in error. The sentence is therefore to be deleted and replaced with the following sentence:

"The rather sparse survey evidence that was presented did not appear to relate the quality of schools to an acceptance or rejection by parents of gender imbalance but, by inference, tended, if anything, to show that parents would accept an imbalance, a rational one, in order to get their child into a good school."
