1. The applicant pleaded guilty to one count on an indictment alleging that on 3 June 2005 he maliciously wounded Chan Kin Kang with intent to cause her grievous bodily harm, contrary to section 17(a) of the Offences against the Person Ordinance, Cap. 212. On 8 May 2006 he was sentenced by Lunn J to a term of four years eight months’ imprisonment. This is his application for leave to appeal against that sentence.
