These were applications by the 1 st , 3 rd , 4 th and 7 th defendants in CACV 210 of 2008, of the 1 st , 2 nd , 3 rd and 8 th defendants in CACV 211 of 2008 and the 1 st , 2 nd , 3 rd and 17 th defendants in CACV 212 of 2008 for orders that the various orders made following the judgment of Saunders J of 18 January 2008 (reissued on 14 February 2008) be stayed pending appeal. At the hearing on 17 September I refused the applications with the reasons to be given in writing.
