1. The appellant (Wong Yun-wan) pleaded guilty before Deputy Judge A Yim to two charges of sending a letter threatening to murder or to kill a person and was sentenced to 10 months’ imprisonment. The judge adopted a starting point of 21 months for each of the charges and reduced it by 6 months because of the appellant’s medical condition.
