COURT: Accused, I have taken into account everything that has been said on your behalf.
The quantity of drugs involved in this case is 1.16 kilogrammes of a solid containing 0.63 kilogramme of ketamine. For that quantity of drugs, I consider a starting point of 12 years to be appropriate.
Having taken into account everything that has been urged on your behalf, I am prepared to give you the full one-third discount, thereby reducing that starting point to one of 8 years’ imprisonment.
You are therefore sentenced to 8 years’ imprisonment.
