These are appeals by the Superintendent of Victoria Prison and the Director of Immigration from orders made on 24th August 1990 by Bokhary, J. in concurrent habeas corpus and judicial review proceedings brought against them respectively by a 7 year old boy, Lee Ka Ming (whom I will call "the applicant", or the boy" for convenience).
