The Court considered whether the Respondent had a reasonable chance of success on appeal regarding maintenance orders increasing the Wife's monthly maintenance from HK$4,000 to HK$4,500 and the son's from HK$7,000 to HK$10,500. The Court held the increases were reasonable considering inflation, the son's age and special needs (autism and mild intellectual disability), and the Husband's stable income and financial support from his new wife. Leave to appeal was refused as there was no reasonable chance of success or other special reasons.
