1. This is the hearing of a summons issued by the 1 st , 2 nd and 5 th defendants (the “said defendants”) on 6 April 2018 pursuant to Order 18, rule 19(1) of the Rules of the High Court and the court’s inherent jurisdiction for an order that, amongst other things, the plaintiffs’ claims be struck out and the action dismissed on the grounds that it is scandalous, frivolous or vexatious and/or is otherwise an abuse of process of the court.
