I have before me an application for writ of habeas corpus by the Applicant filed on 12 February 2026 seeking his release from Tai Tam Gap Correctional Institution (“TGCI”) where he has been detained since 17 January 2026 (“the Application”). The period of detention to date is 126 days (“the Detention”).
