1. This is a claim for damages for the tort of battery resulting in personal injuries and consequential loss. The claim arises out of an incident which took place on the afternoon of 1 October 1998 at the carpark of Kingsun Computer Industrial Building at 40 Shek Pai Wan Road in Aberdeen.
