1. Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd (CPA) is a public company listed in Hong Kong operating the business of an airline with its operations based in Hong Kong. USA Basing Ltd is also a company incorporated in Hong Kong, is a wholly owned subsidiary of CPA and is used by CPA to employ aircrew officers who live in the United States of America. Veta Limited is another subsidiary of CPA which employs aircrew officers who live elsewhere than in Hong Kong or the USA.
