On 22 January 2018, the applicant (who was D2 at trial) pleaded guilty to one count of offering an advantage to an agent, contrary to sections 9(2)(a) and 12(1) of the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance, Cap 201, while Ma Sin Chi (who was D1 at trial) (“D1”) pleaded guilty to one count of accepting an advantage as an agent, contrary to sections 9(1)(a) and 12(1) of the same Ordinance.
