The Applicants in CACC 515/2001, (D2 to D8 and D10 respectively), variously seek leave to appeal against sentence or to have their previous abandonment of applications for leave to appeal against sentence treated as a nullity. Some pleaded guilty on 3 October 2001 and others were convicted after trial on 23 October 2001 in relation to a joint charge of conspiracy to defraud with D9, D11 and D12.
