1. The accident in the present case happened on 22 February 2005 in a construction site at Beas Stable, Sheung Shui, New Territories. In the course of climbing down a wooden ladder, Cheng , the Plaintiff, fell and was injured. He sues KKT , his employer and the 1 st Defendant, and FY , the principal contractor and the 2 nd Defendant for damages. The action was commenced in the High Court but was transferred to the District Court in December 2008.
