1. In this action the plaintiff seeks damages for personal injuries suffered by him in an accident at a construction site in Ma On Shan on 2 August 2008, caused by alleged breaches of various contractual, tortious and statutory duties. The 3 rd defendant was the principal contractor of the construction site and the 2 nd defendant was the main formwork subcontractor who subcontracted part of the formwork to the 1 st defendant who in turn employed the plaintiff, his brother, as a formwork worker.
