1. On 7 May 2019, the applicant was unanimously convicted before Toh J (“the judge”) and a jury of one count of Trafficking in a dangerous drug, namely 343 grammes of cocaine, contrary to section 4(1)(a) and (3) of the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, Cap 134. On the following day, the applicant was sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment.
