On 2 October 2026, Deputy District Judge Patrick Siu handed down judgment in Chow Tai Fook Life Insurance Co Ltd v Luk Kin Hang [2026] HKDC 1755, allowing the insurer's claim to claw back HK$1,356,009.36 in conditional performance bonuses from its former agent. Mr Jeffrey Lee, instructed by Messrs Kennedys, acted for the successful Plaintiff.
On 30 September 2026, Deputy High Court Judge Andrew Li handed down judgment in _Force Field Limited v Top One Global Holdings Ltd & Anor_ and the related _Top One Global Holdings Ltd v Su Da & Anor_ [2026] HKCFI 5340, two actions heard together arising from the 2016 sale of 19.8% of Ernest Borel Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 1856) for HK$154.8 million. On 16 September 2026, Madam Justice Cheng handed down judgment in Lau Lai Shan Lisa v Zhang Qi & Others, HCA 1395/2018 (consolidated with HCA 1992/2019), finding that Lisa had been fraudulently induced to transfer her sole share in Kidbrooke Group Limited to her sister-in-law Zhang Qi, who then sold it for $140m.
