On 13 August 2026, the Court of Appeal (Macrae VP and Zervos JA) allowed the appellant's appeal against sentence in HKSAR v Nkausu Roosevelt (CACC 406/2025), substituting 12 years and 6 months' imprisonment for the 15-year term imposed by Wong J in May 2021.
