On 14 October 2026, the Court of Final Appeal handed down reasons dismissing the appeal in China Properties Group Limited v JIC Trust Co., Ltd [2026] HKCFA 34, without calling on the respondent. Mr Laurence Li SC, Mr Keith Chan and Mr Jonathan Fung, instructed by YTL LLP, acted for the successful petitioner.
On 21 September 2026, the Court of Appeal (Barma VP, G Lam and Chow JJA) allowed the appeals in CACV 190 & 191/2025 by Wong Po Kee Limited, Pyrofoe Engineers Limited and Keio Engineering Company Limited against the order of Deputy High Court Judge Maria Yuen dated 17 March 2025.
