This is an application for leave to appeal against the decision of Mimmie Chan J [“the Judge”] on 30 June 2017 in HCCL 14 of 2014 refusing leave to the Plaintiffs to file and serve the witness statement of Mr Isherwood. Mr Isherwood is an officer of the Standard Chartered Bank [“the Bank”], a former banker to the Plaintiffs and now one of their major creditors. The learned judge refused leave to appeal on 13 July 2017.
