1. 2017年2月，申請人（莊裕安）入禀高等法院向香港終審法院首席法官、終審法院三位常任法官和司法常務官索償（HCA244/2017）。申請人的立場是他向終審法院提出的多宗上訴許可申請都被無理駁回。他指因為自己沒有律師代表而被歧視。他認為駁回他的申請的上訴委員會的三位法官中，有兩位不懂中文，顯示他們處理案件時欠缺誠信。
