On 23 September 2014, the Appeal Board (Hotel and Guesthouse Accommodation) [“the Board”] upheld a decision of the Hotel Superintendent [“the Superintendent”] in cancelling the licence of the Applicant to operate a guesthouse at Flat B, 14th Floor, Kingland Apartments, Mongkok on the ground that the Applicant was convicted of an offence under s 21(3)(b) of the Hotel and Guesthouse Accommodation Ordinance Cap 349.
