1. The applicant of this case is a 5-year’s old boy suing through his next friend who is his natural mother. By way of an originating summons of 13 August 2015, he seeks a declaration from this court that the 1 st respondent is in law his father pursuant to section 6 (1) (a) of Parent and Child Ordinance (“ Ordinance ”) and to amend the particulars in his birth certificate accordingly.
