1. The above two drug-trafficking cases actually arose from the same facts. Female FAN Po-ki (“FAN”) was the First Accused and Male YUE Wai-yan (“YUE”) was the Second Accused when they first appeared in the Fanling Magistracy in March 2018. The case was later transferred to the Eastern Magistracy for committal proceedings in July 2018.
